Darts
Darts became a section of the club in the 50s, firstly playing in the hall in Captain Springs Roads. They formed an association that enabled them to play at provincial level, as well as being members of the Auckland Dart & South Auckland Associations.
The section has always enjoyed social games and were the first section of the club to go on an overseas trip. In July of 1967 they went to Norfolk Island. No problems playing darts, but some confusion with finances. While they were away NZ changed to dollars.
Darts is a game that is played all year around. It is a team and individual sport; injury-free so when it's time to hang up those boots or put away those racquets give darts a go and actively belong to a club.
